NEWARK ART COUNCIL OPEN DOORS Curated by Donna Rae Kessinger Workshop: SElf-portrait ABSTRACT drawing Visual Laboratory From automatic drawing and Conceptual Maps teached by MA.Rodolfo Rojas-Rocha Rodolfo Rojas-Rocha (1968) was raised in Costa Rica. He has a BFA in Advertising Design from Veritas University. Also, he has a BFA (1997) and License (1999) in Drawing and Painting from the University of Costa Rica and a MFA(2006) in Art Theory and Criticism from University of Costa Rica. Rojas-Rocha has worked as an painter and designer for fourteen years, and teach Drawing, Lettering, Presentation Techniques and History of Design at Veritas University, where he has worked for six years until now. Rojas-Rocha has 18 solo shows an more than 80 national and international exhibitions (New York, Cartagena, Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador among other countries),serves on the Ministry of Education as art education consultant.
